Aloo Bhindi Fry / Potato Vendakkai Fry

                                       

                                      ALOO BHINDI FRY 



How to make a Aloo Bhindi Fry


Preparation time: 10 mins

Cooking time: 10 mins

Ingredients needed


Potatoes   -  1
Ladies Finger  - 12 to 15
Onion   -  1
Tomato -  1 medium size
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Jeera   - 1 tsp
oil - 2 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tsp (chopped)
Salt - As needed


Preparation


Clean and cut ladies finger into bite size pieces.Cut the potatoes into cube size and chop onions and tomatoes finely.


Heat a kadai and add 1 tsp of oil and fry the ladies finger for 2-3 minutes. It will help you to reduce the ladies finger stickiness.Then transfer to a bowl.



Again heat the kadai with remaining oil and add jeera.After jeera spluttered add finley chopped onions.Fry the onions till transparent.



Now add the tomatoes and fry well.Then add cubed potatoes and sprinkle some salt for it.so it will cook equally.cook for 3 minutes.




Now add fried ladies finger and cover with lid for 2-3 minutes.


Add a red chili powder and give a stir continuously for a minute. After raw flavor of the red chili powder is gone add chopped coriander leaves.

Now Aloo Bhindi Fry is ready to served with your meals. Also it is very good for side dish to roti .



Note-

  • You can add amchoor powder instead of tomatoes.
  • you can add little black pepper powder also .It will give nice aroma.
