Orange Sponge Cake

                                   

                                 Orange Sponge Cake 



                             I have tried this cake many times,my hubby and kid are love this cake. It is really gives rich flavor and taste.



Ingredients needed


  • All purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup
  • Baking powder  - 1 tsp
  • Baking soda / Cooking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Orange juice -1/2 cup
  • Egg - 2 (or) Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
  • Orange zest - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  • Butter (unsalted butter) - 1 cup/8tsp (at room temperature)
  • Sugar - 1 cup


Method


  1. Preheat the Oven @ 180 degree for 10 minutes.
  2. First beat the eggs smoothly,Keep it aside.Suppose if you are using condensed milk ignore this step.
  3. Then Combine the all purpose flour/maida, baking soda,baking powder in a bowl.Keep it aside.
  4. Now melt the butter and then add jugar,mix weli using hand whisker or hand blender.After sugar melted,add combined flour and mix well.
  5. Now add the beaten eggs or condensed milk ,vanilla essence,pinch of salt and then mix well. Mixing is important so mix everything well without any lumps.
  6. Take a cake making pan and grease with little butter and then dust some flour on that.Don't use the hand when you prepare the pan,just rotate the pan ,So the flour will sprinkle everywhere. Otherwise if you have baking seat,place that into the pan. 
  7. Now pour the mixture into the pan and tap it gently it will help to remove if any air bubbles have inside.
  8. Place the pan in the center of the Oven and bake it about 25 - 30 minutes until the outside will turn to brown color. If you think ready take one tooth pick or knife  insert into that,it will come out clean cake is ready.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it allow to cool after that transfer to plate.When you transfer place the plate on the top of pan then turn back,it is really came out very well, the cake will fall automatically on the plate.
  10. Now cut into the pieces and serve it.
