Guacamole - Mexican Avocado Dip

 

                               

                  Avocado fruit has many nutrition values,we can eat as a raw fruit.Most of the Mexican recipes avocados are main ingredient.It tastes awesome and its so rich and creamy.Using avocado can create sandwich,salads and wraps.It is called as 'Vennai pazham' in Tamil and it is called as 'Makhanphal' in Hindi.Now coming to this dip,it is the best combination with tortilla chips.



Ingredients needed



  • Avocado - 2 (choose soft one,so it is ripe)
  • Red onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato - 1 medium (diced nicely)
  • Lemon Juice - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - as needed

Method

  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits.Then take the pulp using spoon and discard the skin.
  2. Using fork or back side of spoon mash the avocados roughly.Don't overdo it,it should be little chunky.
  3. In a big bowl add the chopped onions,tomatoes,salt and pepper powder then mix well. I added black pepper powder for my kids,if you want you can add green chilies or whatever spices you want.
  4. Now add mashed avocados pulp and the mix well.At last add lemon juice and mix it.
  5. Now the dip is ready and enjoy with tortillas.





Note-

  • Keep everything ready ,don't mix it until when you ready eat.Because it will change the color.
  • avocado choosing is also important,take soft ripe one so that can mash easily.
